UWC Trinidad & Tobago (UWC T&T) provides opportunities for the attainment of a world renowned qualification in a truly unique space within a challenging, supportive, diverse community that inspires young people as tomorrow’s agents of change.
These specific educational opportunities for the colleges listed below can only be sourced through UWC T&T and are for those who think they may need financial assistance to attend UWC.
For the 2026-2028 cycle, UWC Trinidad & Tobago invites applications from suitable candidates for 12 places at 6 UWC Colleges.
*****NEW OFFERS have now been received for 5 additional places with specialised language opportunities, with specific course requirements and requirements for selected students to enroll in the specific designated language course upon acceptance.
All students follow a holistic and concept-based curriculum combining academics, activities, outdoor education, personal and social education and service for a two-year program equivalent to CAPE/ Grade 12 / Advanced Levels, leading to either:
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB)
- International Baccalaureate Career-related Program (IBCP)
Each place includes a potential scholarship opportunity towards at least college fees.

- UWC South East Asia in Singapore (up to 100%)
- UWC Robert Bosch College in Germany (6 places) (up to 100%)
- UWC Pearson College in Canada (up to 100%)
- UWC Changshu China (up to 75%)
- Li Po Chun UWC in Hong Kong (2 places) (up to 40% and up to 50%))
- UWC Costa Rica (up to 50%)

UWC South East Asia in Singapore
- A two-year IB diploma for a deserving female student born between 1st September 2008 and 31st August 2010.
- Students learn within the largest of the UWC colleges with students from more than 100 countries and with more than 90 languages spoken which provides an ideal platform for the development of intercultural and interpersonal understanding
- Potential scholarship over the two-year period provided to cover up to 100% of tuition, room and board (valued at approximately US$150,000)
UWC Robert Bosch College in Germany (6 Places)
- A two-year IB diploma for students born between 29th February 2008 and 1st September 2010 who are:
- a deserving male student
- a student who will focus on German at IB’s German B level
- a student who will focus on Spanish at IB’s Spanish A level (Language and Literature)
- a student who will focus on Arabic at IB’s Arabic A level (Language and Literature)
- a student who will focus on French at IB’s French A levels
- a student who will focus on French at IB’s French B levels
- The college operates with a focus on sustainability in an environment which includes students from over 90 nationalities, representing more than 60 languages and all major faith groups.
- Potential scholarship over the two-year period to cover up to 100% of tuition, room and board (valued at approximately US$92,000)
UWC Pearson College in Canada
- A two-year IBCP Climate Action Leadership Diploma for a deserving student born between 1st September 2006 and 1st September 2010

- Potential scholarship over the two-year period to cover up to 100% of tuition, room and board (valued at approximately US$113,000)
UWC Changshu China
- A two-year IB diploma for a deserving student born between 15th August 2008 and 15th August 2011
- Every student will also participate in at least one Chinese course, language, literature, or culture and in community initiatives such as recycling, organic farming or wetland protection.
- Potential scholarship over the two-year period covers up to 75% of costs (valued at approximately US$81,000) and where families are expected to contribute a minimum of US$27,000.
Li Po Chun UWC in Hong Kong (2 Places)
- A two-year IB diploma for two deserving students who are born between 1st September 2008 and 1st September 2010).
- Students will also participate in Quan Cai (‘whole person development’) programme, and are given the responsibility to initiate, run projects and participate in local community service, and to explore a deeper understanding of China and Asia.

- Two student: each scholarship up to 70% of costs
UWC Costa Rica
- A two-year IB diploma for a deserving student born between 8th August 2007 and 8th August 2010
- The student will learn to operate as an agent of change in an experiential learning adventure and discover their capacity for positive change in projects focused on activism, social entrepreneurship, technology and sciences.
- Potential scholarship over the two-year period covers up to 50% of costs (valued at approximately US$45,000) with the family expected to contribute a minimum of US$45,000.
